IED – Istituto Europeo di Design in collaboration with VFair and Feeric Fashion Week, will award nr. 1 special merit-based scholarship to attend the Summer Course in Fashion Product Management held in IED Barcelona campus in July 2020.
In 2050 about 70% of the world population will leave in a city. This means that it will be necessary to reconsider lifestyle, the relationship between us and spaces or different cultures and new apparel clothing lines that would help us living better the new cities. What would the future of fashion be? Which dress will be the most appropriate?
Today fashion is becoming more and more introspective trying to find the right path for not being again the second most polluting industry in the world. Words like eco, recycle or sustainability must not remain just words or vague concepts.
Those who wish to take part in the contest are requested to sketch a capsule collection which portrays their personal vision of the “sustainable fashion”.
